Bankers at the annual ceremony 2022 in Turkey in Istanbul, and for the
second year in a row, honors the National Bank of Yemen in a large
ceremony held on the evening of Thursday, September 22, 2022. During the
ceremony, the annual awards granted by the Union to senior banking

The Central Bank of Yemen warns all
the banks working in the Republic of Yemen, financial
corporations, banking companies and legal and natural persons, against ,
dealing with the chief executive officer appointed in Sana'a ,
managers and staff of the National Bank branches (Sana'a, Hodeida)
management of Islamic transactions in Sana'a and the branches of
Islamic in Sana'a against breaching articles of association of bank.
Not approving any transactions or acts issued by
them using papers or stamps carrying the bank name and logo of the
National Bank of Yemen as it is legally null and void. Any previous or
subsequent acts or dealings done in violation to this warning make
those reponsible for thereof violators liable to the legal
accountability.
The
Central Bank of Yemen announced that it had received a request from the
National Bank of Yemen, requesting the transfer of its funds in
treasury bills to the headquarters of the Central Bank in the temporary
capital, Aden.
The Central Bank of Yemen,
according to the bank’s account published on the “Facebook” website,
warned everyone against trading or accepting previous National Bank
bills certificates, as the Central Bank had issued alternative treasury
bills certificates. The banking warning included the publication of the
previous treasury bill certificate numbers.

National Bank of Yemen, requesting the transfer of its funds in
treasury bills to the headquarters of the Central Bank in the temporary
capital, Aden.
The Central Bank of Yemen,
according to the bank’s account published on the “Facebook” website,
warned everyone against trading or accepting previous National Bank
bills certificates, as the Central Bank had issued alternative treasury
bills certificates. The banking warning included the publication of the
previous treasury bill certificate numbers.
The
Central Bank of Yemen announced that it had received a request from the
National Bank of Yemen, requesting the transfer of its funds in
treasury bills to the headquarters of the Central Bank in the temporary
capital, Aden.

Prime Minister, Salem Mohammed al-Khanbashi and Hadramout Governor The
Governor of Hadramout Governorate, the leader of the military second

National Bank of Yemen Management issued Statement concerning Fire
Event Exposed by Queen Arwa Building in Crater on Saturday on August 10,
2019
The statement said that:
We would like to reassure the clients of bank that the fire event
occurred was due to the shell which hits yard related to the bank
building, in which there were electric generators and diesel tanks
related to the building. The fire extended to two rooms of the building
towards the yard opposite to the building of Aden Water Corporation.
That is on ten past ten hour in the morning according to the report of
building guards and bank employees.
